Guide Profile
After completing a Division I soccer program in 2008, I set out for the continent of Africa with the goal of gaining a deeper, firsthand understanding of global economics. What began as a personal journey quickly became a defining chapter of my life.
Time spent in rural South Africa exposed me to the complexities of community development and the realities behind economic theory, while the strength, solidarity, and harmony of the women there played a profound role in shaping my own growth into womanhood and global citizenship. That experience led me to pursue advanced studies in economics and community development, with a focus on how systems, large and small, shape opportunity and resilience.
Alongside my academic path, I discovered a passion for the mountains—drawn in by the challenge, exploration, and constant problem-solving required in dynamic alpine environments. What started as a love for skiing powder evolved into a career in guiding adventure travel.
Today, I bring together my background in athletics, global travel, and community development to create meaningful, engaging experiences in the outdoors.
Lately, I am most inspired to build itineraries that slow people down rather than speed them up, allow people to lean in rather than disassociate, and provide the space for people to feel rather than perform. These itineraries have come in the form of Wellness Retreats (mostly for women), Conservation Philanthropy - where people are intimately exposed to an incredible region of the world byway of food, wine, adventure, local ecosystem and economy, and itineraries also for families looking to connect with the short time they have on this planet together. See Current Inspirations for more information.
I am also inspired by teamwork and collaboration. I do not think any of us came here to do this solo. I do actually think that we are better together. So if you feel alignment with this website, please reach out and lets start a conversation.
When I’m not guiding I can be found visiting family and friends, in a live music crowd, adventuring somewhere obscure on planet earth, creating conservation philanthropy projects, dreaming up a new community space, or skiing at home with friends in Montana.
